From commercial structural packages to bridge construction to custom solutions for ladders, stairs and scaffolding, Southern Metal Fabricators has the capacity and power to take on the big brute projects in structural support steel.
Our six-acre fenced laydown yard gives us ample room for receiving and shipping tons of material and product. Our high-bay plant has 50,000 square feet, 10-ton overhead cranes and a 30-ton gantry, so we aren’t squeamish about moving massive metal, and lots of it. Our structural steel saws can chew through steel up to 20” x 30” on a roll-conveyor “beam line,” so we can manufacture structural beams and columns to exacting architectural specs.
We cut, bend, pound, punch, drill, weld, finish and assemble the metal that makes up the very infrastructure of industry and construction. Come to us with the big steel jobs that others have to turn away.
