Overhead conveyor systems move product continuously through manufacturing, finishing, and assembly operations without consuming valuable floor space. The bridge trusses that support these systems are the structural backbone of the entire operation.
Overhead conveyor infrastructure is a long-term capital investment. For this project, a customer needed 20 carbon steel conveyor bridge trusses for their facility in Macon, Georgia. Southern Metal Fabricators fabricated all 20 units and finished them with hot-dip galvanization for long-term corrosion protection.
Every truss was documented and passed quality inspection before shipping. From the initial request for quote to delivery in Georgia, we completed the entire project in three months.
