Metering Bin / Feed Bin Tops

Metering bins and feed bin tops are precision components in bulk material handling systems. A bin top that doesn't seal properly allows moisture intrusion and contamination. A metering bin with dimensional inconsistencies disrupts flow geometry and can interrupt production.

We recently built several metering bins and feed bin tops for a facility in Hopewell, Virginia. A project of this scale, shipped in multiple loads and delivered on time represents the kind of execution that Southern Metal Fabricators prides itself on. We understand that fabrication is just part of the job. Shipping this kind of large custom equipment in the proper sequence and on time is also essential.

Finally, we painted the carbon steel finish to protect the exterior against the corrosion and wear that come with active industrial environments.
